Support Group
We’re so excited and grateful to share that we’re planning to start our support group in February. There are just a few final things to put in place, and then we’ll be ready to get things going. We’re really looking forward to making new friends and walking this journey side by side together. A definite start date will be announced soon, but for now we’re tentatively aiming for late February.
Consultation & Speaking Engagements
Beginning September 2026 - By combining lived experience with professional expertise, LA Support will offer consultations and speaking engagements to organisations, service providers, and community groups. Our goal is to raise awareness, deepen understanding, and support the development of more trauma-informed, survivor-centred services after hours.
Expanding
As we grow, we will also be reaching out to additional locations across the Hunter region as part of our commitment to expanding access to support for those who need it most. Alongside this, we will begin offering information sessions and community nights with local services to share more about the supports we provide and how we can work together to help survivors feel safe, heard, and supported.
We are deeply committed to creating compassionate, understanding, and trauma-informed spaces for healing and connection. We are honoured to now extend our support services to include dedicated support groups for adult women who are survivors of rape and child sexual abuse.
